The product portfolio of the Company in India comprises wiring harness, plastic parts/connectors, terminals, Teflon and auto-grade wires, automotive lamps, fuse box, relays, switches, cap noise suppressors and rubber components. In Europe, the Company focuses on mechatronic/mechanical switches, plastic parts and wiring harness.
The Company is fully backward-integrated with lean organization structure, low key operations and having plants in Tax-free zones in India. It has highly sophisticated, flexible manufacturing facilities with latest, technologically advanced, imported machines and in-house design and development facilities.
Viney operates through 10 production facilities--8 in India and 2 overseas--with a combined area of over 500,000 sq. ft.
Key customers of the Company include BMW, Rolls Royce, GM, Maruti, Hero, Bajaj, Honda, Tata, Yamaha, Renault and Fiat.
Viney commissioned a 1MW Solar power plant in Rajasthan in 2013 and has added another 1 MW Solar power plant in 2014.
Viney Corporation Limited acquired a majority stake in Vimercati Spa--an Italy-based company--in 2011. Vimercati is one of the market leaders in the design and manufacture of mechanical and mechatronic switches for the automotive market.
The company is a first-tier equipment manufacturer which supplies, both directly to OEMs and to Tier-1 system suppliers, as well as to respected, global automotive companies such as BMW, Rolls Royce, Mini, Volkswagen, PSA Group, Renault, Fiat Group (Alfa Romeo, Maserati, Ferrari), DAF etc.
In Europe, the company operates through two production sites—Italy and Romania.
The plant in Italy, spread over about 70,000 sq. ft., employs around 140 people and provides design and engineering capabilities; prototype development; punching and pressing of metallic components; assembly; electronic integration and testing of products.
